DejaView Privacy Policy

Silhouette Web Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the DejaView mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our App. By using DejaView, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including Google’s User Data policy.

1. Information We Collect

DejaView is a simple camera overlay app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information directly. However, certain third-party services integrated into the App may collect data as described below.

1.1 Information Collected by Third-Party SDKs

DejaView uses the following third-party services that may collect data:

Google AdMob (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and process the following:
• Advertising ID (Android Advertising Identifier) — a unique, resettable identifier used to serve and measure ads
• App interaction data — information about which ads are shown, viewed, or tapped
• Device information — general device type and operating system version used for ad delivery

Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)
If you choose to purchase the “Remove Ads” feature, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information. 1.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

DejaView does not collect, upload, or transmit:
• Photos or images — photos selected from your gallery or taken with the camera remain on your device only and are never uploaded to any server
• Name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
• Location data
• Contacts
• Microphone or audio data
• Any data to our own servers — we operate no backend server

2. How We Use Information

The information collected by third-party SDKs is used solely for the following purposes:
• Advertising or marketing — to display relevant banner advertisements within the App via Google AdMob
• Analytics — to understand general ad performance and App usage in aggregate
• In-app purchase processing — to verify and fulfill the “Remove Ads” one-time purchase via Google Play Billing

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third parties. Information collected by third-party SDKs is shared as follows:
• Advertising ID and app interaction data is shared with Google LLC for ad serving and measurement purposes
• Purchase verification data is handled entirely by Google Play and is not shared with or accessible by us
All data sharing is governed by the respective third party’s privacy policy, not ours.

4. Data Security

All data transmitted by third-party SDKs integrated in DejaView (AdMob and Google Play Billing) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption. DejaView itself does not transmit any user data, so there is no data at risk from our side.

5. Your Privacy Choices

5.1 Advertising ID

You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings:
• Open Settings on your Android device
• Go to Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads on newer Android versions)
• Tap “Reset advertising ID” to generate a new ID, or toggle “Opt out of Ads Personalization”
If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your Advertising ID.

5.2 Remove Ads Purchase

You may purchase the “Remove Ads” feature within the App through a one-time in-app purchase via Google Play. Once purchased, no advertising SDK will be active and no Advertising ID will be accessed by AdMob within the App.

6. Children’s Privacy

DejaView is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us using the information below. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

DejaView integrates with third-party services (Google AdMob and Google Play Billing). These services have their own privacy policies and practices that are independent of this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services:

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the changes and your consent to abide by the updated policy.
